The Brotherhood That Made Service Matter

Armor officer and cyber and electronic warfare professional Larry Jordan Jr. found the brotherhood he had longed for when he entered the Army at 27, trading civilian life for duty, purpose, and shared responsibility. From 3rd ACR and the Stryker Brigade to the 82nd Airborne Division, injuries forced Larry to adapt without abandoning his mission or his place in the team. That camaraderie became a defining part of his military identity, shaping how he served, overcame setbacks, and eventually faced life beyond the uniform. The Danny Li Podcast features defining moments from U.S. military veterans, senior military leaders, and national security professionals.
